Morgan Florsheim
Program Associate
Morgan Florsheim is a Program Associate at Resilient Cities Catalyst, where she works alongside community members, nonprofits, and government entities to deliver high-impact resilience projects.
Before joining RCC, Morgan was an intern on Woodwell Climate Research Center’s Government Relations team. There, she researched and wrote policy briefs, supported staff scientists in delivering risk assessments to local governments, and tracked legislative hearings, executive branch actions, and congressional priorities related to nature-based climate solutions and climate resilience. Prior to attending graduate school, Morgan spent two years working at a watershed nonprofit in Nashville, Tennessee. While at the Cumberland River Compact, she facilitated climate and watershed education and managed the organization’s climate-related communication and outreach. Alongside her work and studies, she has also published several freelance articles in publications including Yes! Magazine, Nonprofit Quarterly, and Next City.
Morgan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Brown University and a Master’s degree in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning from Tufts University.
